People First – Roberta Bruno

Head of the ‘EHS environment, health and safety at work’ department at the Casale Monferrato headquarters, she travels around Italy and all Bonzai sites in the course of her duties. This, in her opinion, is the most challenging but also the most satisfying part of her professional role. This is how she gets to know a large number of colleagues and appreciates not only their professionalism but also their people side and the spirit of cooperation, which she says is particularly present at Bonzai.

A bit of a headache by role, she is definitely predisposed to relationships, which she also cultivates intensively in her private life. Not satisfied with travelling around Italy for work, she travels the world with her lifelong friends, because travelling is her second greatest interest. The first? Diving, and diving is a big one, as she is about to get her scuba diving licence to go under thirty metres deep. The love for the sea comes from her father, a freediving expert, and that is why her unconventional side is… Swimming among manta rays in the hope of sooner or later meeting a whale or tiger shark!
